I have one of this years seedlings in bloom, 5 months from sowing!
I really think I am winning in trying to breed 'early flowering' traits in to my crosses.
This one is Hurstwood Francisco X Hurstwood Hannah. I have a friend across the pond who also has this seedling blooming in 5 months from seed.
I like this one, my intention was a small bloom from H.Francisco (trying to bring out Vulcanicola traits) with the deep,dark colour of H.Hannah. Not quite got the colour I wanted but the bloom form is moving in the direction I envisaged.
I'll keep trying.
